Miniature Laser-Based Oxygen Sensor

Nov 13, 2025

Our company has recently launched laser methane and oxygen sensors.
This miniature laser-based oxygen sensor utilizes Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) technology for oxygen detection. The sensor integrates an advanced laser and detector, combined with an optimized optical system and sophisticated algorithm, employing an open-path gas exchange method to achieve highly precise and challenging measurements. The sensor offers a standard measurement range of 0-30% vol, featuring high resistance to interference (no response to non-oxygen gases), high detection accuracy, fast response, and low power consumption.

Technical Principle:

Utilizes TDLAS (Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy) technology for non-contact measurement.

Accuracy & Stability:

Error: ±0.3% VOL at normal temperature and pressure; ±1% VOL across all operating conditions.

Concentration drift: Only 2000 ppm (over 24 hours).

Environmental Adaptability:

Operating temperature: -10°C to 55°C.

Humidity: 0% to 98% RH.

Pressure: 80 kPa to 116 kPa.

Suitable for harsh environments, including high temperature and high humidity.
Power Consumption & Integration:

Operating voltage: 3.3V to 5.0V.

Average current: 40 mA.

Communication: TTL serial port.

Advantages:

Resistant to cross-interference (no response to non-oxygen gases).

Long service life (stable optical system).
